Live an Elegant life: Learn to be grateful

Live an Elegant life: Learn to be grateful

Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday. Growing up in Hong Kong, Thanksgiving was not on our calendars. And Black Friday? To a Chinese person,  this sounds like an especially unlucky day, and definitely not one where you would want to go shopping. But after going to school in the US and learning about the Pilgrims and what they went through, Thanksgiving has become something truly special to me.

Every Thanksgiving, my mother in law reads a short essay about how the Pilgrims celebrated Thanksgiving to remind us to be grateful for what we have. It is called the FIVE GRAINS OF CORN and has become one of my favorite Thanksgiving traditions. (Scroll Down)

Thanksgiving is a day to think about all the blessings that we have. No matter what challenges we are facing, there are always things that we can be grateful for.

What are you thankful for today?

Write them here (Free PDF) and share them with your loved ones.
